
North End Coffee Roasters has signed an agreement with iPay Systems Limited. Both iPay and North End Coffee takes yet another step towards Digital Bangladesh. The business venture took place in the capital’s Gulshan city at the North End head office. iPay users and coffee lovers can now rejoice over their interest paying seamlessly through iPay, steadily contributing to the cashless movement to make Digital Bangladesh.
MD of North End Coffee Roasters Mr. Richard Hubbard was present during the agreement signing. Other attendees from North End side included Manager of IT and Development Noel Mannan and District Manager Monir Hussein. iPay officials present during the event included HOD of Merchants Raihan Faiz Osmani, Head of Business and Strategy Muhammad Abul Khair Chowdhury and Merchant Acquisition managers Sagar Ahmed Robin & Mahboobur Rahman, Manager of Strategic Business Development and Partnership Jamil Uddin Bhuiyan and Business Development Specialist Shenawaz Mannan.
iPay Systems Limited is the first digital service wallet provider in Bangladesh with license provided by Bangladesh Bank as a Payment Service Provider (PSP). Members can easily download the app from Apple Store or Google Play Store to sign-up and then get verified to start their transactions. Moreover, members can pay their bill, send money to their bank accounts or add money to their iPay wallet from their bank accounts, send money request to their friends and family and also top-up mobile bill.
To sign-up in iPay, members need to provide general information like name, and mobile number and also set password. Then for account verification members need to upload their photo, National ID Card/Passport/Driving License. Then lastly to ensure source of fund, members need to add money to their e-wallet by adding either their bank account or Credit/Debit Card.
