
Internet service provider, Link3 has joined hands with the country’s first one of a kind fintech app iPay. Users can now pay their internet bills via the convenience of iPay.The deal took place Sunday, June 3, at the iPay headquarters located in Gulshan. The attendees from Link3 included MD Sheikh Raihan Ahmed, CFO Azizur Rashid, Billing and Credit Control AGM AKM Ahsanul Haq, AGM VAS Mohammad Shamimul Islam, Retail Sales and Marketing AGM Syed Mohammad Mashhurul Zameen. Ipay attendees included CEO, Zakaria Swapan, Advisor Mohammad Nurul Amin, Head of Business and Strategy, Mohammad Abul Khair Chowdhury, Head of Merhcants, Raihan Faiz Osmani, Head of Operations, Fahim Hossein and Strategic Business Development and Partnership Manager, Jamil Uddin Bhuiyan.
iPay Systems Limited is the first digital service wallet in Bangladesh with a license granted by Bangladesh Bank as a Payment Service Provider (PSP). Members can easily download the app from Apple Store or Google Play Store to sign-up and then get verified to start transaction. Moreover, members can pay their bill, send money to their bank accounts or add money to their iPay wallet from their bank accounts, send money request to their friends and family and also top-up mobile bill.
To sign-up in iPay, members need to provide general information like name, and mobile number and also set password. Then for account verification members need to upload their photo, National ID Card/Passport/Driving License. Then lastly to ensure source of fund, members need to add money to their e-wallet by adding either their bank account or Credit/Debit Card.
