Unimart Ltd has signed an agreement with iPay Systems Limited on 24th April 2018. The agreement was signed at the iPay headquarters in Gulshan. Through this agreement, both Unimart & iPay take yet another step towards Digital Bangladesh. iPay members will now have the luxury and convenience to make payments at the super store.The agreement was signed by CEO Murtoza Zaman of Unimart Ltd and Founder & CEO of iPay Systems Limited, Mr. Zakaria Swapan, on behalf of their respective organizations.
Other attendees from iPay included Advisor Muhammad Nurul Amin, Head of Business and Strategy, Mohammad Abul Khair Chowdhury, Business Development Manager, Iftekharul Alam Ayon, Head of Merchants, Raihan Faiz Osmani, Business Development Specialist, Naymur Rahman and Strategic Business Development and Partnership Manager, Jamil Uddin Bhuiyan. Unimart officials present at the occasion included Head of IT Syed Sharafi, Account Manager Tanvir Ahmed, AGM Ataullah Ripon and Senior Executive Golam Rabbani.
iPay Systems Limited is the first digital service wallet provider in Bangladesh with license provided by Bangladesh Bank as Payment Service Provider (PSP). Members can easily download the App from Apple Store or Google Play Store to sign-up and then get verified to start transaction. Moreover, members can pay their bill, send money to their bank accounts or add money to their iPay wallet from their bank accounts, send money request to their friends and family and also top-up mobile bill.
To sign-up in iPay, members need to provide general information like name, and mobile number and also set password. Then for account verification members need to upload their photo, National ID Card/Passport/Driving License. Then lastly to ensure source of fund, members need to add money to their e-wallet by adding either their bank account or Credit/Debit Card.
