Banglalink, has signed a strategic agreement with iPay Systems Limited at Banglalink Head Office in Gulshan. This unique partnership is set to unleash a fresh wave of enthusiasm in the rapidly growing digital economy of the country.

The agreement was signed by Founder & CEO of iPay Systems Limited Mr. Zakaria Swapan and CCO of Banglalink Ritesh Kumar Singh, on behalf of their respective organizations.

The agreement enhances the opportunity of Banglalink’s digital drive where iPay will closely work to facilitate payment solution for various Banglalink digital products including recharge as well as digital touch points like MyBL App, Banglalink website, etc. Banglalink customers will also be able to cash-in their Banglalink wallets using iPay. This makes it very convenient to pay for products and services from the Banglalink websites, e-shop, Banglalink Walk-in-Centers can also accept iPay as payment option. As par this strategic agreement, both companies will also run joint campaigns.

Banglalink’s Head of Digital, Gaurav Kakkar, Head of Digital Distribution Rashed Moslem, Digital Distribution Manager, MD. Ariful Hoque and iPay’s Head of Business & Strategy, Muhammad Abul Khair Chowdhury,  Head of Communication and Media, Muhammad Muntasir, Head of Market Operations Mohammad Fahim Hossain and Manager, Strategic Business Development & Partnership, Sayed Taslim Mahmood were present on the occasion.

iPay systems limited is the first digital service wallet provider in Bangladesh. The company received license from the Bangladesh Bank to operate as a Payment Service Provider (PSP).

The iPay app allows users to pay their bills, send money to their designated bank accounts, add money to their iPay wallet from their bank accounts, send money to their friends and family members and recharge against the mobile bill.

Anyone can easily download the app from AppStore or Play Store. Once downloaded, the users will need to sign-up for the service, which will be followed by a verification process, before the user can start using the app for making digital payments.
